Choosing photos for your “I love the Smiths” video
Use one photo per person with a single, sharp, front-facing face, framed from the head to the shoulders, in even light and without sunglasses. Recent photos work best, because the AI copies what it sees. Avoid group shots, heavy filters and faces turned more than slightly to the side.
Quick checklist
| Check | Good | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| People in the photo | Just one person | Group photos and crowds |
| Framing | Head and shoulders | Full body from far away |
| Angle | Facing the camera or slightly turned | Profile shots, looking down |
| Light | Daylight or even indoor light | Backlight, dark rooms, harsh flash |
| Face | Fully visible, sharp | Sunglasses, masks, hair covering eyes |
| Edits | Natural photo | Beauty filters, stickers, cartoon effects |
| File | JPG, PNG or WebP up to 8 MB | Screenshots of screenshots |
Tips for each role
The listener: headphones are added by the scene, so you do not need to wear them in your photo. A neutral or slightly curious expression fits the turn.
The fan: this person speaks and smiles, so a photo with a relaxed or smiling face usually works better than a serious one.
Permission comes first
Only use photos of yourself or of adults who have agreed to appear in the video. Do not upload photos of public figures or anyone under 18. Read the photo permissions policy for details.
